Tether Limited has inked a memorandum of understanding with Georgia's government, a strategic partnership designed to catalyze the growth of blockchain technologies and other crypto-based advancements within the nation.

Tether will establish a dedicated fund to inject capital and provide grants for domestic startups evolving services founded on blockchain.

The subsequent phase is to encourage the implementation of digital communication and transaction systems, rooted in peer-to-peer technologies, across public administration and private enterprises.

The firm is also set to foster educational initiatives and programs to enrich the proficiency of students and industry professionals in areas such as blockchain, stablecoins, and P2P technologies.

A reminder that Tether Limited and the University of Business and Technology of Georgia had previously joined forces in May, penning a memorandum of understanding to boost education in cryptocurrencies and blockchain throughout the country.
