New revolutionary feature from YouTube

YouTube, under Google's umbrella, is rolling out a revolutionary feature that provides automatic video translation, a development announced by its creators. The functionality extends beyond the mere automatic creation of subtitles in various languages to include voiceover capabilities. This significant announcement was made at the VidCon conference by Google officials.

They have introduced a pioneering tool known as "Aloud" that is currently effective in English, Spanish, and Portuguese languages.

The groundbreaking AI-based framework initially transcribes spoken words from videos into text. Content creators can then review and make necessary adjustments to this converted text. Following this process, Aloud translates the revised text into the preferred language and produces a dubbed version of the original content.

Amjad Hanif from YouTube reports that several hundred vloggers and content creators have already started utilizing this service. In the future, the development team plans to enhance the platform with automatic lip-sync capabilities and to improve the emotive depth of the synthesized voiceovers, thus creating a more immersive and authentic viewing experience.
